This route is well marked with orange arrows. From the other en of
the square (125 m) starts a
narrow asphalt road
gently downhill with an arrow painted on it. Later you branch off left
following the arrow to a
track (4min) (120 m), which soon turns into a concrete road.
Straight after passing a
washing house (7min)
(100 m) the arrow guides you to the right to a track, which narrows into
a path. Next, the arrows take you two times left. When you come from the
pine forest to a sand
road (17min) (120 m), follow the arrow to the right.
The sand road leads to the CU-6 (20min) (125 m), which you follow to
the left. In a couple of minutes, the arrow guides you to the right. At
the next junction (27min) (135 m) you go left and cross a bridge over
The track leads to an asphalt road (40min) (170 m). Turn right. Later
you branch off left to a track marked with the orange arrow (46min) (155

Looking right you see the
San Martín de Luiña in the valley.
When the track forks (56min) (135 m), go right. Keep right also at
the next fork marked with the orange arrow (1h) (120 m).
The road descends to the village of
Mumayor (1h03min) (80 m),
where you take the asphalt road to the left. At the other end of the
village you continue along a track. At the next junction (1h13min) (115
m), turn right. The road goes under the A-8 and comes to an asphalt road
(1h24min) (75 m). Turn right and walk some 40 meters until the arrow
guides you to the left, to a concrete road. Later it turns into a track.
The route continues
along a wooden bridge.
Ignore the bridge branching off right (1h41min) (10 m) and walk to the
of La Concha de Artedo.
At the other end of the beach you follow the arrow uphill to the
left, to an asphalt road. Later the arrow guides you to the right to a
track (1h51min) (80 m). The track turns into a path, which forks by a
fountain (1h58min) (110 m). Go left. The path mingles with the brook and
ascends to an asphalt road (2h) (115 m). Turn left and follow the arrows
through the village back
to the square (2h23min).
