How to get there: Turn from
the N-420 on the VV-9101, a road signposted to Castielfabib. Drive 1.6
km and turn left to the "Complejo de Turismo Rural". After a
couple of hundred meters you reach the guesthouse and the parking place.

| Walk some twenty meters back on the road you
came until you meet the signpost "Sendero de la
Biodiversidad" (865 m). Follow this green pointed sign to the left and
continue on the track straight forward without paying attention to the
track that turns off into the backyard of the guesthouse. The route is
well signposted and has a number of panels introducing the flora of the
region. After some three minutes, fork left. Orange rockwall
starts to line the track. The track passes under the VV-9101 (17min) (800 m) and leads to the fruit groves. Walk along the edge of the groves. Do not go on the path that runs higher up. You meet a sand road on which you continue to the left. You cross the river Ebron (29min) (775 m) and turn left on a track lined by plantations and reddish rockwalls on your right. When you meet a sign that points to a path on your left (42min) (790 m), descend to the waterfront of the Ebron which flows in torrents in the middle of a lush leaf trees. After walking a couple of minutes on the track, turn right and ascend on a track (50min) (785 m), which you follow to the left. You cross the bridge over the Canal de Piedra (52min) (800 m). When you meet a sign pointing left (57min) (825 m) ascend along a wide path on the VV-9101 (1h07min) (880 m). You see Castielfabib on your right and the valley behind you. Turn left. By the sign for the "Complejo de Turismo Rural" turn right and return to the parking place (1h12min). |
