| Follow the wide path that starts by the panel
(730 m). The route itself is quite modest, but the nature park of Montes
de Malaga is close to Malaga. The path crosses a bridge, and soon a wooden pole with a white arrow
guides you to the left (2min) (710 m). You pass a recreation area and
follow the river on your left. The path
descends to a bridge
(12min) (680 m). After crossing it you come to a narrow sand road. Turn
right.
The road
runs through a luxuriant forest with a myriad of wayside flowers and
various blooming bushes. In May, white and pink roses line the route.
Following the river on your right you cross two more bridges before
encountering a sign for the lookout spot of Martinez-Falero (35min) (630
m). Ascend along the road
to the lookout spot (48min) (705 m) revealing a forests
of pine cloaking the slopes of the gorge.
Return back on the same route to the point where the path joins the
road (1h30min) and walk along the road back to the museum (1h37min). |
