How to get there: Driving on the AS-25 turn to the AS-26 with a sign for "Cascada de Oneta" and continue some 5 km to the village of Oneta. (Roadmap)

Distance: 1h40min/5.7km

Immediately after driving into the village you see the sign "Cascada de Oneta, SL-AS-5" pointing to a narrow asphalt road (310 m). Soon it turns into a track winding through meadows to the river Oneta on you left. After passing a dilapidated mill, the track narrows into a path that descends to the first of the waterfalls, the Firbia (20min) (245 m). Rushing down from some 20 m the water forms a lovely bond and runs further along the river.

Further up you pass the Abaxo mill with a traditional gear of a miller. First the path follows the river lined by a stone wall. Later the path turns away from the river and comes to a junction (31min) (210 m), where you turn down left. The steep path leads to another waterfall, Cascada La Ulloa (35min) (205 m). Return back to the junction and fork down left almost immediately after the junction (39min) (210 m).

You can follow the beautiful river some 10 minutes more before the path ends. On the other side of the river the path goes on, but especially in the spring it turns very muddy.

Return on the same way back to the village of Oneta (1h40min).
