How to get there: Drive on the N-621 to the village of Llanáves de la Reina located between the kilometer posts 117 and 118. You find a parking place by the fountain.(Roadmap)

Distance: 1h52min/6.4km

Walk from the fountain some 50 meters towards Puerto San Glorio along the N-621 to an information panel on the "Parque Regional de Picos de Europa" (1390 m) and cross the bridge over the brook of Naranco. On the other side you turn left on a concrete walkway. After passing a mill and the information panel on the PR-LE-23, the concrete walkway turns into a track (3min) (1390 m), which is well marked with wooden poles of PR-LE-23. You ascend through grazing ground enjoying a nice view to the village. Higher up the track enters a spruce forest (15min) (1515 m) opening up a fine view over the valleys of and to the mountain of Coriscau.

The track leads to the pass of Pandos (24min) (1570 m), where you have a view to Peña Vallines. From the pass the track bends left. Sloping down gently it becomes narrower and turns finally into a path. After crossing the brook of Orpias you come to a fork (52min) (1400 m), where a wooden pole guides you to the right. From now on you follow the poles which take you a number of times over the brook along stepping stones. After crossing a bridge you encounter an information panel (1h17min) (1280 m) and climb to the N-621. Turn right.

When you meet a sign for "Fuente de aguas sulfurosas" on the right side of the road (1h23min) (1305 m), you can take a path to the fountain (1h29min) (1290 m). Another path leads from the fountain to the road which you follow back to Llanáves de la Reina (1h52min).
