Map for the route (ED50)

How to get there: Driving on the N-621 turn between the kilometer posts 167 and 168 to a narrow asphalt road signposted to Cuñaba ja San Estebán. After 2.6 km, the road forks. Follow the sign for San Estebán to the left. After 500 meters, the road ends in San Estebán by a small square with a beautiful fountain and benches. (Roadmap)

Distance: 38min/2km

On the left side of the square (280 m)you see a white-yellow waymark. The lane takes you to the other end of the village (2min) (280 m), where you find a sign for Tresviso. Follow the sign to the left. Soon another sign guides you to the left again (4min) (300 m). The track leads to a lookout spot (7min) (315 m) with fine views over the village to the Sierra Nedrina. Looking southeast, you see the pointed peaks of Picayo, which belong to Sierra Cocón.

The track bends right and narrows into a path, soon accompanied by the river Robicones. When you reach the recreation area (14min) (315 m), ascend to its upper part, where you encounter a path that leads to the right (17min) (330 m). Do not follow the white-yellow waymarks to the left over the river.

The path zigzags to a track (22min) (380 m). Turn right. Lined by handsome trees, the track opens up fine views to green pastures and gray rock walls dotted with trees. At the junction (30 min) (320 m), you turn down to the right. The track slopes down to the village (36min), where you take the familiar lane back to the beginning of the route (38min).
