How to get there: Driving on the N-621 turn between the kilometer posts 167 and 168 to a narrow asphalt road signposted to Cuñaba ja San Estebán. After 2.6 km, the road forks. Follow the sign for San Estebán to the left. After 500 meters, the road ends in San Estebán by a small square with a beautiful fountain and benches. (Roadmap)

Distance: 5h/12km

Walk back along the road some 200 meters to the bend where you find a signpost to "Collau La Galabin" (260 m). Take the track which crosses a bridge and bends left by an information panel. The track turns into a path, which ascends to the gorge (7min) (315 m) and starts to follow its right flank. The San Estebán river flows deep in the gorge on your left. Higher up you enjoy a nice view over the village of San Estebán to the Sierra Cocón. In front rises the Sierra Nedrina.

The path crosses a number of brooks before it slopes down to a beech forest (1h05min) (750 m), where you find another brook. Lined by abundant vegetation the path becomes difficult to walk. When it forks, go right (1h25min) (850 m). Follow the white-yellow waymarks over the river (1h28min) (850 m). In the pasture of Sombajo the waymarks lead you to the right (1h34min) (880 m). On your left you see a waterfall.

The waymarks guide you along a grassy slope to a crest (1h50min) (1020 m), where you bend left to the pass of Galabin (1h54min) (1040 m).

From now on the route is unmarked. Continue from the bond to the right. When you reach a crest, the path bends left (2h20min) (1215 m), crosses a small plain and comes to the slope of Vigueras (2h30min) (1270 m). Do not continue along the path to the north side of Vigueras, but climb along to slope to the top (2h43min) (1320 m). From the top you have a nice view to Sierra Cocón.

Return the same way back to San Esteban (5h).
