| At the parking place (1025 m) you find an
information panel on the route and a path that starts by the panel. You
cross a hill (6min) (1070 m) and descend to the bridge of Sabina (14min)
(1025 m). After crossing the bridge, turn left. You follow a track that
leads gently uphill following a gorge lined by fine rock walls on your
left. When the track forks (31min) (1100 m), go right and start climbing
a steep
slope. At the next fork (51min) (1260 m), keep left. The track turns into a
path in a couple of minutes. When you come out from the pine forest
(1h09min) (1395 m) you see a valley on your left and a giant rock
behind. You come to a crossroads in a grassy field (1h17min) (1420 m).
Continue straight ahead. Soon the path starts to slope down (1h20min)
(1420 m) and passes ruins of a house (1h23min) (1410 m).
Southward rises Sierra
de la Cabrilla.
You go down along a steep slope and cross a
brook (1h38min) (1300 m).
Keep an eye on the right side of the path where you notice two wooden
poles waymarking a path that branches off right (1h42min) (1310 m). In a
minute the arrows guide you right again. When the path forks (1h49min)
(1240 m) follow the blue arrow to the right. The narrow path leads
through a brushwood to the brook of Guazalamanco (2h) (1140 m) and
crosses it immediately.
The brook flows
in small cascades
on your left until you
cross it again (2h05min).
After passing a dam, you have to cross the brook once more
along stones
(2h08min) (1095 m). On the other side you find a wide path that turns
into a track. Ignore a track that joins in from left behind (2h18min)
(1070 m) and continue straight ahead. The track leads to a lookout spot
(2h28min) (1050 m) and descends steeply towards the reservoir
of Bolera to the sandroad of Dehesa
(2h31min) (1015 m). Turn right.
Lined by fields of corn the road passes a training centre and crosses
a bridge revealing a small part of the reservoir of Bolera before
reaching the gate of the Aula de la Naturaleza (3h13min) (1025 m).
Continue through the gate back to the parking place (3h15min).
